John Belushi swinging his "breasts" around is forever imprinted in my mind as is the Festrunk brothers and their ongoing quest for "foxes." The 70s was an amazing time to be introduced to comedy. I was in middle school at the time and just starting to realize the challenges of dating.

For the longest time it did not occur to me that Steve Martin’s song, King Tut was a part of a comedy act. For the longest time I thought it was a song like any other song they played on FM radio. It wasn’t until I saw Steve Martin perform it on Saturday Night Live

The way I remember hearing it told was Rodney Dangerfield didn’t start making it big until he started belittling himself. He was the first comedian I heard make a self deprecating joke. I have a talking statue of him on my desk at work.
