For the longest time it did not occur to me that Steve Martin’s song, King Tut was a part of a comedy act. For the longest time I thought it was a song like any other song they played on FM radio. It wasn’t until I saw Steve Martin perform it on Saturday Night Live that I realized it wasn’t a serious song but something I should be laughing to.
