What’s interesting about Deborah Underwood and Renata Liwska’s The Quiet Book is its message that it is okay not to say anything when something is wrong. Often books targeted to young readers promote talking about your feelings and explore ways of self expression. The Quiet Book validates those times when you just don’t feel like talking about it. It also promotes moments of calm self reflection and absorption in “a moment.”
